David is an associate in Bergen & Parkinson’s Real Estate and Business Practice Group. His practice includes advising institutional and individual clients on the following:
∙ Corporate Law – Reviews and drafts documentation and advises clients concerning corporate law matters including contracts for the sale of goods and services, joint venture agreements, consulting agreements, and the purchase and sale of assets or securities.
∙ Business Law – Advises clients on matters including business start-ups of all forms (LLC, corporation, partnership, etc.), planning, reorganization, financing, merger and acquisition, and dissolution.
∙ Real Estate Transactions – Orchestrates the transfer of property on behalf of buyers, sellers, and lenders for commercial and residential real estate transfer including matters relating to financing, development, leasing, and the issuance of title insurance.
∙ Real Estate Law – Advocates for clients on matters relating to property and lease disputes, homeowner association and subdivision issues, condominium formation and reorganization, financing matters, and issues relating to title of property.
David has over ten years of experience in the legal field; prior to joining Bergen & Parkinson and graduating from law school, David worked at one of the area’s largest law firms as a corporate and real estate paralegal for five years, served four years as litigation support for the United States Air Force, and has served for six years providing ongoing legal support for the Maine Air National Guard.
