A member of the firm’s litigation group, Jana returned to Bergen & Parkinson in 2023 after practicing in Portland, Maine, where she focused on complex commercial litigation and insurance defense. Now residing in Biddeford, Jana has moved her practice to York County where she represents a variety of clients in disputes involving estate/probate issues, property law, and general litigation. Jana takes a client-centered, pragmatic approach to reaching a resolution for each of the clients she represents.

Jana graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where she was a legal writing teaching assistant and a member of the moot court team. A native of central Maine, Jana then clerked for the Maine Superior Court in Penobscot County before beginning her practice in southern Maine.
